JellyFish Designer Zoning

With the JF Designer App, you can create custom zones. This allows the front of your home to be on a different program than the back and sides of your home, or one section of your home to be on while the rest is off. It works on a numbering basis, you can save many different zones and name them accordingly.

To use this function visit the setting page > zones> add zone > select port then toggle the numbers to set each zone for each port. The port is where the wire is coming out of the controller to each section of lights. Often homes will have 2-3 ports in use for different parts of the home. Keep in mind, once you have a zone saved you can easily turn it on and off and won’t have to select lights from the numbered system every time.

JellyFish Designer Custom Patterns

The JF Designer App allows you to create custom lighting sequences for any event! It also comes with 102 preset programs that you can choose the movement for, the options include color (no movement), chase, paint, stacker, sequence, and multi-paint.

To create a pattern visit the page “create pattern” in the JellyFish Designer app select the movement that you would like, and number of lights with the color of each light.

JellyFish Designer Custom Accent / Security Lighting

There is no longer a need for can lighting with the JF Designer app. You can now easily accent different parts of your home by selecting which lights you want turned on. You can also have each light on a different color. For example, if you have three peaks you can have 2 lights at the top of one peak red, 2 lights at the top of another peak white, and 2 lights at the top of the last peak blue for Independence Day.

To create an accent lighting scene, click “create accent” at the bottom > press the + and – buttons to scroll through the lights on your home (the light selected will blink) > press the rectangle under “accent” > select a color > if you want to have all lights the same color press “set all color” or if you want each light a different color press “set” > press the save icon to the left of new > name it and choose what category you’d like it saved under (accent) > save

JellyFish Designer Scheduling Calander

With the new JF Designer app you can now schedule your lights to turn on and off with different programs throughout the year. You can schedule your lights to turn on and off with sunset to sunrise (linked though weather.com). For example, most nights schedule the white accent/security lights to turn on, then for the night of Halloween schedule a green and purple program, and for the Christmas season schedule a red and green program.

On the security side, if you know you’re going on vacation, you can schedule your lights to come on a different program every single day with the new app to have the appearance that someone is home changing the lights.
To schedule your lights to turn on in the future press schedule on the bottom > + event > select one of your saved patterns > select the zone(s) you’d like to turn on > set a begin and end date > set a start and end time > save
